By Bishop Bingham
Elder David Bednar, speaking to the missionaries in a Christmas devotional, taught us the difference between a testimony and conversion. He taught that a “testimony is what we know to be true through the witness of the spirit. Conversion is consistently being true to what we know. And it takes both. If all you’ve got is a testimony, you may be in jeopardy. But If you are on the pathway to continuing conversion unto Christ, then the sure promise is, you will never fall away.”
The “natural man” thinks only of his or her self. The “natural man” does what he or she wants and doesn’t care what God wants. Bednar said that ”Conversion is a turning away from the natural man.” I know that our heavenly father is waiting to bless us with all that he has, as we submit our will to his. I bear my testimony that the church of Jesus Christ is the true church. Jesus Christ leads his church through his prophets and apostles on earth today. I love my Savior! I love the members of Mount Fagan ward!
