Pie-making activity - November 2022
On November 16, the Young Women 1 class gathered at Sister Shearman’s house to make pies!
First they learned how to make pie crust. Then they had such a great time making pumpkin, chocolate, apple, and pecan fillings to put into their crusts and take home.

Pumpkin painting activity - October 2022
On October 19, the Young Women 1 class got together and painted pumpkins. All of the girls did an amazing job and were so creative. They had so much fun, and their pumpkins are all ready for Halloween!
Pretzel Making Activity - August 2022
On August 31, the Young Women 1 class made pretzels. They all gathered at Sister Miller’s home and learned how to hand roll and twist homemade pretzels. They made savory and sweet ones that were enjoyed by all!
'FareWhale' Activity July 2022
The Young Women 1 put together a card for Alyssa Stover because it was her last Young Women’s with us before she moved. They had a fun night together and made ice cream sandwiches. We will all miss their family so much and are happy

Temple Trip May 2022
The Young Women 1 class had an amazing trip to the temple on Saturday. The girls were excited to be able to perform baptisms for the dead and spend time with one another. We are grateful for the amazing Dads that we’re able to come and help!
March and April Activites 2022
The young woman 1 class had an activity where the girls learned how to decorate cupcakes and also do meal prep! They made delicious tacos and did a great job slicing vegetables, cooking meat and preparing salad.
In preparation for upcoming girls camp the Young Women 1 class got together and tie-dyed shirts. They also used fabric paint and decorated them so they can have matching shirts to wear at camp!
Valentines Cookie Night Feb. 2022
For Valentines Day the young women 1 gathered at Sister Miller’s house and learned how to make some of her amazing cookies! They packaged them up and the girls gave some to someone of their choice.
Rice Krispies Service Night -- January 26, 2022
After a Sunday lesson on service, the Young Women 1 class went to work and made delicious Rice Krispies treats for families and delivered them all in one night. The girls brought joy to others and had fun serving.
Karaoke Night January 2022
The Young Women 1 class held a karaoke night in January. They had fun and shared many laughs singing and dancing.
S'mores and Kayaking at Lake Patagonia
The Young Women 1 class had a great campout on the Leavitts' beautiful property in September 2021. The girls had fun spending time together, cooking s'mores, and kayaking on Lake Patagonia.
