Temple Trip November 29, 2023

November 3-4, 2023 Cave of the Bells campout

We went up to Gardner Canyon and did Cave of the Bells. Bro Powell was our tour guide and the boys got to explore and bond with their qourum members. It was a testimony building campout and we're happy that most got to attend .

September 28-30, 2023 Horseback Trip

The trip the boys looked forward to this year has come. A three day horseback trip up in the Rincon Mountains. On this trip we were truly blessed by angles. We rode in rough country for 3 days. We slept under the stars at different ranches every night. The boys had a chance to understand that life is not hard at home. It was a fun trip once in a lifetime that they will never forget.

September 20, 2023 Mercedes Dealership Tour

Thanks to Bishop Bingham the boys went and took a tour of the dealership.

September 16, 2023 Shotgun Shooting

The priests went shotgun shooting for the morning and had a blast.

August 30, 2023 Temple Trip

August 25-26, 2023

We had a blast camping down here and going sand surfing at night with spotlights. We woke up early and went to Mt. Lemmon and did 7 cataracts. We canyoneered all day and had a blast.

August 8, 2023 Top Golf

The boys planned a trip to top golf and had a blast.

August 2, 2023 Haircuts

We met at Bishop Bingham's house and Anna Bingham taught us how to give hair cuts. Many boys got missionary haircuts that night.

July 7, 2023 Lake Trip

We had the opportunity to go to the lake and do water sports. We were able to wakeboard, tube, surf and ski. It was a great day! The boys had a lot of fun.

June 21, 2023 Pool Party

We had a fun pool party at the Bingham's home. We had hotdogs and played water games. The boys had a fun time.

June 16-17, 2023 Campout

We had planned to go to Cave of the Bells and go caving, however due to the fire the hwy was shut down. We went swimming and then went sand surfing. The boys did great and had lots of fun surfing with spotlights. We camped, ate breakfast and went home.

May 31, 2023 Temple Trip

The Priests quorum went to the temple and participated in baptisms.

May 20, 2023 U of A Baseball Game

We were able to go to the U of A baseball game. The Priests had a blast. Some even got homerun balls.

April 21-22, 2023 Campout

The Priests quorum went fishing at Arivaca Lake. We stayed up late, told stories, and woke up early and fished. The boys had kayaks and had fun making memories.

April 15, 2023 Pit Crew

What a special day for the boys:  They got to be part of a pit crew for a drag team. They got shirts made for them and were able to stand next to the car as the race started. They helped tow the car back to the pit and helped fuel it up.

It was a fun, loud, smoky day.

Youth met at the Az trail and mountain biked.

March 22, 2023 Learning to Cook

We met at the Gifford's house, and they taught us how to cook their family spaghetti recipe.

We were able to learn some new shooting skills taught by Sophie. All the young men did great shooting.

March 1, 2023 Combined Crab Soccer

That evening a combined activity was held, with all the youth playing crab soccer. The event was put on by the bishopric.

February 22, 2023 Journal Covers

The Priests made covers for their journals that they use every Sunday in class to prepare for their missions.

February 15, 2023 Mission Calls

On February 15, all of the ward youth gathered and learned from Preach My Gospel from the missionaries. The youth were then assigned missions and went to their missions and learned. They then roleplayed. It was a great spiritual experience. Thank you to all who helped.

February 10-11, 2023 - Priests Go Camping and Rappelling

On February 10-11, the Priests went on the first campout of the year. We camped on Friday night and had a great time playing games and telling stories. We woke up early Saturday and went to Mt. Lemmon and rappelled until the boys were tired. A great activity. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making it happen.

Feburay 1, 2023 - How to Date

We had an awesome activity by Frank and Zack on how to date. These two prepared and did not disappoint. Lots of laughs and a great time. We played basketball to end our activity.

Priests Go Paintballing on January 28, 2023

The Priests went paintballing. We were all on the same team, giving us a chance to develop great communication. We won 7 out of 8 games. Some of the Priests were a little trigger happy and went through their paintballs faster than others.

YM and YW teams vie for gingerbread house awards

On December 7, 2022 all of the youth gathered for a gingerbread house decorating competition. Teams were divided randomly and were given about 45 minutes to make their creations.

​There were so many amazing and creative houses, some with complete back stories! Three teams were given awards for Most Creative, Best Constructed, and The Most Humorous.
