Young Women have a blast while competing
The young women got together on February 8 to play a fun game.
Each person had a grocery bag on their back containing a plastic egg filled with candy. Each player was also armed with an inflatable bat. Four teams competed against each other to protect their eggs while attempting to break the eggs of the other teams to win their candy. The girls came up with a lot of strategies as each round went on.
Ultimately the girls had a blast being together!

There were many activities the girls enjoyed like rappelling, hiking, orienteering, axe throwing, archery, survival skills, service, and crafts. We also had some amazing speakers come and teach about testimonies.
The girls did an amazing job on their lip-sync performance and created some fun choreography to "ABC, Easy as 1-2-3"! We also did a lot of chores with a lot of singing and just had fun being together on Mt. Lemmon.

Getting Ready for Girls Camp - June 3, 2022
The young women had a camp activity at the church to get ready for girls camp. First they broke into groups with their "big sisters" for games and songs and learning how to fold and raise the American flag. Then we all decorated our hats for camp with fabric markers and stencils during our craft rotation.
Sister Gifford was amazing and taught the girls about safety and first aid in many different scenarios. They even practiced carrying each other if someone were injured.
There was a camping relay where the groups had to properly set up a tent, then run and stuff their sleeping bags. They then returned to their tents and set the sleeping bags up inside and all got in. They all were very quick at setting up their tents. The leaders were very impressed.
We enjoyed dinner together and then an impromptu giant game of duck duck goose. The bishop shared an amazing devotional, and we ended the night with s’mores! The young women are excited and ready for girls camp next month!
