YW Class 3
YW Class 3 Learns Jiu Jitsu Moves
On September 21, 2022, the Young Women 3 class learned some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Brother Allen and Robby Allen were amazing and taught us some awesome moves.
First, we learned how to fall properly so we don’t hurt ourselves. Then we learned how to forward roll and look pretty cool doing it. After learning how to flip our opponent to the ground, we learned some submission holds.
All the girls were excited and had a blast. We are so grateful for the Allens for taking the time to teach us!

YW3 Temple Trip - August 2022
- The Young Women 3 class went to the temple on August 18. It was a beautiful evening to spend time on the temple grounds after baptisms. We are grateful for the bishop and Brother Robertson for coming with us!
YW3 Evening with Horses
For our activity on July 20, the Leavitt family was amazing and let us come out to their property. Emily Leavitt taught us all about horses! She first taught about the equipment used and how to care for and groom a horse. We then learned how to saddle a horse properly and ride. Red was mostly patient as the girls took turns caring for and riding him. We even got to learn some wound care and how to show a horse. We are so grateful for Emily and her willingness to share her talents with us.
YW3 and Priest Nerf War - June 2022
The young women 3 class and Priests were combined and had an epic nerf war night. Each team had glow sticks and had to avoid getting hit in dim lighting while hiding behind obstacles in the gym. We played several games including capture the flag and team vs team. We had a blast and shared lots of laughs together. The missionaries even joined in on the fun!
Painting Night - April 2022
The Young Women 3 class had a painting night with watercolors. Following along to a Bob Ross video there were many laughs and happy accidents. All of the girls paintings turned out great!
Temple trip - April 2022
The young women 3 went to the temple on April 15, 2022. It was a great night, and Bishop Bingham and a couple of our amazing Priests were able to come and help as well!
Archery Night - April 2022
The YW3 class did an archery night on April 6th. The target was filled with balloons and the girls has no problem taking all of them out!
